Welcome to this week’s instalment of the Friday Mixtape, a run down of the favourite tracks in Billetto HQ this week. There’s been no shortage of amazing new music this month, so crank up the volume and get to it.

Kicking off the mixtape is London’s masked maestro, Brolin, who issued another dose of mysterious minimalism (how’s that for alliteration) early in the week. Summer Camp saw a reworking of ‘Fresh’ from Fyfe, who earlier in the year peaked interest across the board with the unexpected ‘St. Tropez‘. Taken from her forthcoming album One Breath, South London’s Anna Calvi storms through with ‘Eliza'; be sure to catch her on her European tour this autumn. Another mysterious newcomer, Gent Mason (a new signing to London boutique label Aesop), dropped the rumbling and hypnotic ‘Eden’ – a promising prospect if ever there was one. Adding some international flavour, New York’s Gambles perfectly blends acoustic strumming and a strained, emotive vocal in the goose-bump inducing ‘I Cry Out’.

Rounding things out, a debut from Brooklyn newcomers Ejecta with their Belaric synth pop gem ‘Jeremiah’, a dramatic dystopian soundscape from JAGGA and the latest from Sivu. Dive in.
