Friday Mixtape

Friday Mixtape

Welcome back for another edition of our Friday Mixtape. Today our track picks come straight from the minds of  the Billetto community. Once again, you can enjoy the funky playlist on the amazing Songdrop platform – used for all of our weekly mixtapes. Let’s get to it, and find out what YOUR tunes of the week were.

We start by celebrating HAIM‘s debut album with the ace single ‘Forever’, followed by the London buzz band London Grammar and the breezy, blissed-out melodies of ‘Strong’. We’d like to ease into the weekend with some variety: we are offering you the *highly addictive* Emilie Nicolasthe chunky blues of Filthy Boy and infectious hand-clapping of Mantaraybryn. If you are still hurting with the Summer blues, what you need is Goldroom‘s refreshing pop, and the multi-laden indie rock of Eliza and the Bear. We also celebrated the release of BANKS latest video – a gorgeous black and white affair – for  ‘This is What it Feels Like’. Last but not least, Indie LDN pick Arrows of Love  with the track ‘The Knife': “Three minutes of beautiful restraint followed by one minute of mayhem.”

So there you have it – your cherry-picked  tunes to soundtrack the long awaited weekend. Sign up to Songdrop here, and follow Billetto to see what we’re up to. Enjoy, and have a great weekend!
